My inspiration for my newest studio assignment. Louie Palu photographed these soldiers over in Iraq during the single moments of quite reflection times. I saw these and was immediately inspired. My boyfriend of over a year has just returned from Iraq, he was there for about a year. I'd like to photograph him in the studio while he talks about his experience to see what kind of emotions I can provoke.
that's scary. has he told you much of what went on besides the almost losing his eye and turning into a pirate part? when my grandpa used to get drunk, he'd start talking about the war and it wasn't pretty. now he's a pacifist.
